Subject: An unknown cartoon, probably early 90s

I remember watching this obscurwe cartoon in the mid 90s, and it seemed as late 80s or early 90s one to me. It was about two caterpillars (or worms, I'm not quite sure), that were joind together at the back (like a special kind of tram where the front and back ends are identical). The one was red/orange and the other blue. They were constantly arguing and wanted to split, but they were attached ath their backs. Csan you possibly help me?
