There's already a thread like this for '80s cartoons, so I decided there should be one for great '90s toons as well.

There's not really a whole lot of cartoons that came out after 1997 that I like, and this list is mostly based off my personal favorites. If you think I missed a good show, feel free to add it.

Around '95, Cartoons started to go downhill for me :(
Of the ones in the list, 'Captain Planet and the Planeteers' was my favourite, followed in a tie by 'Talespin' and 'Batman: The Animated Series'

I would agree overall. Even though I liked the shows I listed after 1995, there not nearly as good as the ones that came out in the late '80s/early '90s.
Luckily, most of the early '90s cartoons stayed on TV in re-runs until the late '90s, and some even into the early '00s. Cartoons have gone from bad, to unwatchable since then :(

OMG!! I love all those toons that were on Nick... Doug and Rugrats... My faves are Ren and Stimpy, Pinky and the Brain and Animaniacs.

OK, so about half the original links are gone, but it's a very well-researched intro to the topic.
I'm sure most of the relevant content has been re-upped. Wander through memory lane, and/or let's fill in those blanks, folks.

Pokemon was not without it's charm in the early days but now at season 16 it's just not as good as it once was.
