Was anyone else a fan of the sitcom Coach?  It ran from 1989-1997 on ABC

- The best thing I loved about this show was actor Kenneth Kimmins as the team's budget director Howard Burleigh.  His office was above Hayden's, and whenever Hayden wanted to speak with him, he would turn his coat rack upside down and bang on the celing while screaming Howard's name.  Howard would race down and say "I wish you wouldn't summon me" ;D

- One of the funniest episodes ever was when Luther ordered a pizza, he tried to get in on that 30 minutes or free deal by giving the delivery guy the wrong (but close) address.  When the Pizza delivery guy showed up, he figured it out, and when he knocked on Luther's door, Luther turned off all the lights and locked his door until the 30 minutes had passed ;D

- or the one where Luther's dog ate Jimmy Johnson's Super Bowl Ring ;D


For me, and I bet lots of people, the show went drastically downhill in the last two seasons when Hayden became head coach of the (fictional) expansion NFL team the Orlando Breakers, naturally taking Luther and Dauber with him.  The legendary Katherine Hemlond was brought in as the team's owner Doris Sherman.  I got used to it, but I liked it better with the college team



DVD Releases:
Seasons 1 and 2 are currently (separately) on DVD.  Season 1 also comes in a limited edition rubber case that looks like a football

I never liked this show. Granted, I didn't see that many episodes of it, and there were moments when I laughed, but, overall, not my favorite show at all.  :-X

Yeah, this was a great show. Definitely went down in quality its last few years, but most shows do.

I think my favorite episode was the "Death Box" episode.

Never warmed up to it, though I am a big football fan. Never liked Craig T. Nelson for some reason...

Another classic midwestern 90's sitcom.

It was an ok show.

I liked it alot. I enjoyed watching it again on Nick at Nite, but it doesn't come on there anymore.

It was an OK show, not one of my favorites but still pretty funny at times.

I remember seeing the into to this show all of the time in 1991.

This show still holds up after all of those years.

Yeah I remember watching this show. It was good.

I remember Craig T. Nelson's character(Hayden Fox),I kept on thinking of the Iowa Coach(in real life) at the time whose name was Hayden Fry. It was like Hayden Fox-Hayden Fry in my head.
