Subject: Memorable 90s year(s) to you:
Written By: jens_pinkflute on 05/14/07 at 9:28 pm
I'm not sure if there is another subject topic like this one , I thought I'd just bring it up anyway. So which year or years from the 90s do you remember most and why is it your favorite, without getting too personal of course lol.
mine were '91, 1993 and 1997. It was the music...the best ever heard in those days to me.

I was tempted to say most of it, but then I thought about how, alot of stuff in my life personally was kinda lousy in the early-mid '90s (i.e. moving around alot, relatives dying, my parents separating briefly). Yet I still look back on most of it as this golden, nostalgic time now. We tend to remember things better than they really were sometimes.
In 1994 I missed the late '80s, and in high school I started missing 1994. Stuff always works like that, lol.
Even though I obviously have more old-school nostalgia for the first two thirds of the decade, my life was probably the best in the Spring 1997+ time.

Mostly for me it's the '93-'98 era, but pick just 1 year and I would say '97 too.

1992, 1996, and 1999 brought back the most memories.

It would definately be 1994. Sure, I was only 4 years old most of the year, but I have a lot of memories of that year and 99% of them are wonderful.
A close second though would be 1995. It was a lot like 1994 in that it includes many special memories, but the second half of '95 was when I started kindergarten and got a computer for the first time, so that kind of sets it off from previous years. But still, 1996 and most of 1997 are still very special, especially '96.

The memorable years for me are 1993 - 1998. If I had to choose one year, it would be 1996. It was the year I started high school and my summer vacation between 8th and 9th grade was the best I ever had.

I liked the entire decade, but my two favorite years of the '90s would probably be 1994 and 1998.

The ones that stand out for me for many many reasons are:
1993 and 1994
1998 and 1999
So generally back to back years.

1992, 1993, and 1994 were good years for me personally. '98 stands out for me too...don't really know why.

Probably 1992 (I always claimed it as the best year of my life!) and 1999 (in which I would meet the man who would eventually become the man of my dreams).

For me, it was 1995-1996, the year I graduated from high school. 1997 wasn't too bad, either. :)

I slept my way through the 90s. I wanted to get away from grunge music and gangsta rap
I did enjoy the early 90s. Cool dance-pop and rock tunes 8)

1990 - the year I started school, remember the summer very well however I was only 4 at the time so my memory wouldn't have been as strong to say that of the later half of the 90's.
1994 - One of my better school years, world cup was great, was the year I got into football.
1998 - Was the year I remember most, wwf wrestling's greatest year, making lots of new school friends etc.
1999 - Not such a great year, got into a few school fights, fell out with people, repeatley in trouble with the school lol. chaotic but funny.
