Is there anyone else besides me that actually likes this song. I remember the year it came out, 1993, I was 5 years old. All the kids at my daycare always sang it, and the yalso song however do you want me, by Soul II Soul

This is one of those fun, 90s dance songs that can put me in a good mood (and hit the dance floor) whenever I hear it! :D

I don't mean to intentionally parody it but I swear one line sounds to me like it says " call me Mr. Reagan" ! :o

I like this song and other Culture Beat tracks like "Got To Get It", "Inside Out" and "Crying In The Rain". Even their early dance track "I Like You" from 1990. :)
A fun dance record that still gets a lot of spins from me. 8)

This is the only song I know of theirs. I was in junior high when it came out...and I grew quite fond of it. ;D I never knew there were any rap verses until just a few years back. IOW, these lyrics, sung by Lana Evans (I guess that's what her name was):

Mr. Vain was their only US Top 40 hit :\'(
They were bigger stars Internationally, and within the US Dance chart :)
