I believe it could very well the best song from the 80's. So upbeat and fancy. Captures the vibe. Captures the times. It's perfect!

Hey Bill, are you sick or something? The Backstreet Boys didn't have any EIGHTIES stuff. If they did, then Dick Van Dyke's real name would truly be Penis Van Lesbian. I watch the Penis Van Lesbian show everyday on TV Land; he's a funny guy.
For the recourd, that song was made in the NINETIES. Idiot.

In the UK this song was released in May 1999, so it should be in the 1990s section.

Exqueeze me? Read my comments on the '80s board. I was there and cognizant the entire decade. If that sappy song came out in 1985 it would have sounded like nothing out of the ordinary.

I just now read this thread and honestly can't tell if the OP is being serious or not.
Although I never was a boyband fan, I did like this song as one of the fluffier pop ballads at the time. It doesn't sound '80s to me, although I guess in a way, the teen pop stuff of 1997-2000 is like an update of New Kids on the Block and other late '80s teenpop.
