I never had one, but I did play one a few times. When it was just new, I rented one, and a game called Actraiser which was like just the best game ever, and is still one of my all-time favourite RPGs ever

I've had my SNES 13 years this year, and it still plays like it just came out of the box 8). The only games that I actually own for the system are:
Super Mario World
Super Ghouls and Ghosts
Tecmo Super Bowl
Animaniacs
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV:Turtles in Time
Donkey Kong Country
Even to this day I still play my SNES often.

Ah yes, the first system I owned, as I got the NES later. I remember buying it Christmas 1993 along with Super Mario World and my parents bought me Mario Paint, which was a paint and graphics program. Eventually we bought Super Mario All Stars, Super Castlevania IV, Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario Kart among many other games. We played this system all the way until Spring 1996 when we sold it, which I now regret but at least I bought a new one two years ago. Indeed this was probably my most favorite gaming system of the 90s if not of all time.

Yeah, the SNES is right up there with the Genesis as my all time favorite system too. Ironically I got my NES later too, even though I played the NES a few years before.

Of course, Ive had mine for many a year, Got it for my 15th birthday! and it still works OK. I have one of the original controllers left. So many memories with this one and the Nes, which also still works after 20 years.

My sister and I went half-and-half on one in the early 1990s and we still have it. I enjoyed playing the games so much. Let's see, we had:
-Mario World
-Mortal Kombat
-Super Mario All-stars
and a few others I can't recall right now, LOL. I have a GameBoy Advance so I still play a lot of the Super Nintendo games on there. My sister has Dr. Mario which is fun :)

My videogame-addict period was roughly from the tender age of 5 to about 12. When I had a game rented out, I sometimes played it from the time I woke up until suppertime and then again until I went to bed late at night. When I was very young, I used to enjoy watching my older brothers play games on the Atari and Calico, and later on the Nintendo. It's 'cause of them I got introduced to it at such a young age.
I stopped with the Super Nintendo and never graduated on to the N64. I'm not even sure why, but it was probably healthy for me. ;)

My cousin had one for a few years, and after his parents bought him a Playstation, I bought it for $50.
Sweetest deal I ever made! That was 3 1/2 years ago and While he had a cool collection of games, it was kinda small and I've been buying up titles from Amazon ever since.
He Had: Super Mario World, Mortal Kombat 2 & 3, Donkey Kong Counrty 1 & 2, StarFox, F-Zero
I've bought: Donkey Kong Country 3, Super Mario's All-Stars, Paperboy, Vegas Stakes, Tetris 2, Tetris Attack
Any others I should grab?
Your Pal,
Doc
