Disney still made good cartoons in 1990-1995 and the TMNT were pretty popular in the early '90s too despite coming out in the late '80s(alot of people in my 1st grade class liked the show even though we were born the year it started).

I was a huge TMNT fan (even if I barely remember those years) when I was about 3-4...Disney's Golden Age was definitely the 1940s with such features as Dumbo, Fantasia, Pinnochio, Bambi.etc.

Yeah, I was a big TMNT fan up until I was about 6 or 7 right around the time they stopped showing it on Saturday mornings. As far as Disney no doubt there golden age was in the '40s thats when the company made a name for itself. They seemed to have a bit of a second golden age in the late '80s/early '90s though when Ducktales made Disney huge again.

Ahh, that's what I thought - thanks guys.. I think I blocked them out. I couldn't stand them. I saw the movie when it came out and it was not my cup o' tea (I guess this is from a girls point of view).

I'm sure many girls were fans of the show. But yeah, maybe just not your cup of tea...

Part of me was a big tom boy, and maybe that's why I decided to watch the movie. I guess, even as an 8 year old, the movie just wasn't funny to me. It was kinda of bogus.
I'm sure many girls liked it, but I guess I was not in that majority ;D
