Subject: '90s Album that released the Most Singles?
Written By: EightBallJon on 06/01/06 at 4:17 am
Anybody know? My guess would be "Dangerous" by Michael Jackson (Released in November 1991), which had 7 Hit Singles in the span of 2 years
Another Album I thought about was "Jagged Little Pill" by Alanis Morissette, but that only had 5 Singles
Anybody know of an Album that had more Singles than 7 in the '90s?

Guns N Roses Use Your Illusion I and II had more singles than any album in the 90's, but it is 2 seperate albums, although both released on the same day. Most people actually consider it one album.

I would think Alanis Morisette's 'Jagged Little Pill,' Nirvana's 'Nevermind,' Jane's Addictions 'In Chains,' Oasis' 'What's the Story?', The Pumpkin's 'Mellon Collie...' and Natalie Imbruglia's, 'Left Off Middle' would be up there. Oh yeah, and Sheryl Crow's 'Tuesday Night Music Club.'

It has got to be Shania Twain's mega-selling Come on Over album from 1997. There were a whopping twelve singles - yes, twelve - released between 1997 and 2000.
"Love Gets Me Every Time"
"Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)"
"You're Still the One"
"When"
"Honey, I'm Home"
"From This Moment On"
"That Don't Impress Me Much"
"Man! I Feel Like a Woman"
"You've Got a Way"
"Come on Over"
"Rock This Country!"
"I'm Holdin' on to Love (To Save My Life)"
I got this information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shania_Twain_singles
The two biggest selling albums by female artists in the '90s - Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill and Shania Twain's Come on Over - were both by Canadian women.
