Subject: What's the official start of summer?
Written By: 1993 on 05/28/06 at 11:56 pm
Growing up, I don't remember it being Memorial Day, (for me personally it was the day I hear Frampton comes alive on our yearly family trip...but that's another story)
When did Memorial Day become the official unofficial start of summer?

Down here it would be when the school holiday's start around the 12th of December - it's when everything takes on a laid-back 'holiday' feel about it (for the students at least).
