Subject: Trying to find song from late 90s...

I hope i don't sound to stupid here but i will try to give details.
There's this song i'm trying to find i beleive it's from the late 90s 96 or 97 and all i can remember from the song is that the guy singing it has a soft voice and the melody in the background is of someone playing a trumpet or atleast it sounds like a trumpet being played over and over again. if you can help please email me at classclown84@gmail.com

I think it's Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve.

He might have his description mixed up. "Bittersweet Symphony" had Violins, not Trumpets
I can't think of any song with Trumpets playing

Yeah I know it's violins, but it could sound somewhat similar to a trumpet I guess and it is being played over and over, so that's the closest song I could think of.
