Hey! Aren't you forgetting something? The Spice Girls! Their video for "Say You'll Be There" was sooooooooooo late-nineties. Everything was cheesy 70s back then.

I think that "Free Your Mind" by En Vogue from like 1992-1993 has a very, very '90s vibe to it...the sleek, tight black costumes and "dark" look, the moshing crowd, and muscley shirtless drummer and that it takes place in a warehouse just SCREAM '90s. "Whatta Man" by Salt N' Pepa is also very '90s, with the crowd of dancing people, the fireplaces and "inside" look, the orange glow, and baggy flannel shirts. Other definitive-looking '90s videos:
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana
"Losing My Religion" by R.E.M
"Jeremy" by Pearl Jam
"Baby One More Time" and Christina's 1999ish singles (the school gym and everything is so 1999)
"Bullet With Butterfly Wings" by the Smashing Pumpkins (just looks extremely mid-90s)
"Take a Bow" by Madonna
"Ray of Light" by Madonna and "The Power of Goodbye" by Madonna (both epitomize 1997)
"Devil's Haircut" by Beck
"Closer" by Nine Inch Nails (another very mid-'90s video...)
Everything Alanis Morisette and Sarah MacLachlan did...
"Waterfalls" by TLC

I don't think this one made it outside of Canada, but "Desire" by Capital Sound
That was one of the most 90's music videos I ever saw

:DYeah that's right ! 1997's "Who do you think you are" video (a single not released in the u.S) reached the summum of 70's cheesy-ness.
