Who else here loves Todd Solondz movies? Happiness is probably one of my favorites, it's a dystopic movie about a child molester in suburbia that's one of the funniest films I've ever seen (I know it doesn't sound that way, but you have to see it.) It all takes place and was filmed in a heavily Jewish town a few over from me where alot of my mom's high school friends currently live...Livingston! Welcome to the Dollhouse is another true classic taking place in the same town, you can relate to it if you've ever been 12. His later movies like Storytelling haven't been as good.
He was one of the big catalysts in interest in Jersey and Jersey celebs, along with Kevin Smith, The Sopranos, and lots of other locals like Zach Braff, Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah, Christina Ricci becoming immensely popular.
