Subject: VH1 last night: The Temptations movie
Written By: Carl on 02/02/06 at 11:40 am
Who here saw this last night? The movie came out in '98. I liked it, but it was VERY sad! :\'( But it told a good story of the band's struggles and success.

I, too, saw it during its original run on network television. It's a great story with great music. Love that 70s funkdified Temptations sound! 8)

The movie was great, but at the same time very sad. Hard to believe almost all of them are no longer with us, except for Otis Williams, who is still keeping the band going strong.

:) That is my favorite movie of all time. I was born in the 90's so I feel that, that has affected my peers and me alot, cause that was about our culture and what they did to achieve their goals. Big ups to Terron Brooks and Christian Payton because they actually sung some of those parts. They got skills!!! The movie got me really wanting to do something more in life.
Thank You :\'(
