This isn't mean to be an open question about what is your all time favorite rock song from 1997, this is just a question of which song from the poll do you think was the best from 1997.
1997 was a year for some of my favorite rock songs, I just thought I would start this poll here and see what you guys think on the matter. Which do you guys think was the best?
(btw, the Dates listed beside the song are American release dates)
My top 3 are...
1) "My Hero" - Foo Fighters
2) "Song 2" - Blur
3) "Firestarter" - Prodigy

I voted for Song 2 by Blur. Wasn't the best Blur song, but the best song out of this list :)

I would say My Hero from Foo Fighters.
Prodigy is more electronica than rock.

The reason I like "Song 2" by Blur so much is because it's supposed to be like a Parody of Rock music. And it being called "Song 2" is supposed to be a mockery of Rock Albums and how the 2nd Song on most rock albums is usually the most intense song on the album

Other than the Prodigy songs (which don't ring a bell) I like all of them.
I had to pick "One Headlight" - I totally got into the Wallflowers when they came out. 70's/80's styled classic rock mixed with the Alternative sound really well.
I was sooooo close to picking "Semi Charmed Life" though - that one is catchy as ever! :)
