Subject: MTV's Top 100 Music Videos before New Years
Written By: TarzSp on 10/04/05 at 4:10 pm
Anybody remember when MTV used to do this? They used to do this every year in the 90's, but they stopped doing it around 1998 or 1999
I used to love it when they did this, what they would do is show the Top 100 Music Videos from the Entire Year leading up to the New Year and right after the #1 Video of the year plays, the Ball would drop for the New Year
I remember watching it every year during the mid 90's, but the only one I can really remember was the one from 1996 (Going into 1997) and the #1 Video was "Ironic" by Alanis Morissette
Can anybody remember any others and what the #1 songs/videos from each year were on that show?
