It was a very colorful show...they danced, sang, she had cheerleaders, there were lots of kids, etc...I remember watching this in the mornings before I went to school....ok...correct me if I am wrong..but wasn't she a porn star?? I had heard rumors of that in the past and when I was doing a search for pictures of her on Yahoo...a bunch of nudie stuff came up of her.....I mean, how in the world does that happen....porn star to kids tv host.....um...ok.

I remember catching the tail end of this program years ago on Family, PBS, or some other channel, and thought, what are the Europeans doing now?

I sort of vaguely remember Xuxa. Pee-Wee Herman...a nice Jewish children's show host gone wrong...but isn't that what you're supposed to do at a porno theater, or am I wrong!?

Well, unless she's f*cking guys on the stage or showing clips of her past work, I don't see how it affects her ability to host a TV show.  From everything I read, she really enjoyed doing the show, and from I remember when I used to watch it, everyone seemed to be having a good time.  Also, the show eminated from Brazil, I believe.....not every country is as uptight and puritanical as the US is.

Maybe she wanted to get out of porn and do something else that she loved, like work with kids.  She couldn't do porn forever and she did have the right to seek other employment.  I think if there had been a problem with it, she never would have been able to do the show anyway.
