Subject: Shows you watched in the '90s

Written By: Guest on 03/04/05 at 1:15 pm

I had many shows that I watched in the '90s from the early part of the decade to the later part.  Through that time I saw how my tastes changed as I got older (I was 6 at the beginning of the '90s and 16 at the end) and the decade progressed.  Here's the shows I watched.

early '90s:
Ducktales (reruns)
Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers
Muppet Babies (reruns)
Tiny Toon Adventures
Tale Spin
Darkwing Duck
The Simpsons
In Living Color
SNL
Clarissa Explains It All
The Ren & Stimpy Show
Are You Afraid of The Dark?

mid '90s:
Rocko's Modern Life
Ahh! Real Monsters
The X-Files
Beavis and Butthead
The Critic
Duckman
All That
Mad TV
MTV's Oddities
Spiderman
X-Men
Goosebumps

late '90s:
Spawn
12 Angry Viewers
That '70s Show

Who else can see how the shows they watched changed as the '90s progressed and they got older?

A correction to myself -- actually Out of this World weren't all reruns when I watched it, since the show went till '91.

"The Straight Dope" was a short lived but interesting show. In a way it was an early Mythbusters.

The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! (early-90's)

That wasn't the animated Mario Bros series was it? (ran about 89-90).That, I cringingly remember, was one of the strangest viewing experiences I've had the pleasure of beholding. Judging by the slightly disappointing quality of the voice-acting.etc, I thought it was some cheap rip off (of Nintendo? God forbid!), but was consternated to discover it was an Official Nintendo product. That spoilt girl koopa (I forget her name) was a real keeper...as well as Mario's Italian American accent (in the video-games he doesn't really say much, and speaks in an Italian American accent). I do know of the Mario Bros movies, but don't know of a live-acting TV series.

Only every night. Back then I think it used to come on at 8:00 but about 9 years ago they pushed it back to 8:30 and eventually to 9:00. Used to love watching those 50's/60's shows :)

The show you're probally thinking of is Lambchop's Play A Long.

The song that played at the end of every episode is catchy !  ;D
