Though both reek sweaty socks, I'll select Marilyn Manson for chopping few great new wave songs like "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)", "Tainted Love", and "Personal Jesus".
Though Puff Daddy have sampled many great classics into worthless junk... :P Including The Police's "Every Breath You Take", Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir", David Bowie's "Let's Dance", etc.
Atleast both aren't that famous anymore :D ::)

P Diddy because He wants more people to be like him, through his clothing lines, lyrics, and making the band.
At least Manson created his own image (its kinda worn out now though) (much like what happened to Alice Cooper and even Ozzy.

I put both; P Diddy's no use whatsoever, but respect to him for adopting a new name directly indicating the size of his genetalia. Better than his previous name, which suggested he was a homosexual father...
I'd argue that Manson didn't create his own image, he just copied different bits from different people, 2 of whom you've mentioned. Plus anyone can make a cover version...

I don't mind Puffy Daddy but I cannot stand Marilyn Manson. That guy makes me want to buy his CD just so I can smash it against a wall ;D
