The worst movie in the world is "night of the twisters". It's an embarrassment...great fun to watch with your little brother though...might be from the eighties though sorry  :-\\ The eighties and nineties were full of retarded, crappy action movies (with some notable exceptions). Total Recall (1990) is right up there with the WORST of the worst...ugh.

I thought Space Jam was cute and fun, I was around that age it was aimed at when it came out so unless you were that age, you probably can't judge it accurately  ::) And I only saw the Blair Witch Project a few months ago and was terrified...I guess my expectations were way down from all the crap that movie gets. Watch it with surround sound, the stones clinking around the tent....ugh, i'm getting goosebumps.... :o

I agree with this, and it reminds me of a funny story:

     Back in around 1990 or 1991, I was in the Army stationed in Germany, and there was this guy in my platoon who, although we were friends, greatly disagreed with me when it came to musical tastes. I had just seen the Rolling Stones in concert at a soccer stadium in Frankfurt (awesome show, by the way), and he would needle me about this rumor that was going around that David Bowie's wife had supposedly caught him in bed with Mick Jagger. "You like the Rolling Stones? Mick Jagger's gay!" he'd always say. Meanwhile he just worshipped Madonna. He thought she was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I thought (as I still do now) that Madonna was (is) an no-talent hack.
    Anyway, we'd go to a lot of movies together (at the base movie theater), and "Truth or Dare" had just came out, and he just HAD to see it. So we're watching this film (which did nothing other than confirm to me what a conceited b*tch Madonna is), and toward the end of the movie there was this scene where Madonna was playing truth or dare with her dancers, and she dared two of her gay male dancers to French kiss. Sure enough they did, and the entire theater let out a collective groan and immediately stood up and started heading for the exits. That theater couldn't have cleared out faster if it had started on fire. (Just so you know, I'm not a homophobe or anything, but keep in mind this WAS the military.) When we got outside the theater, I started laughing in his face. "How do you like Madonna now?" I taunted. I'll never forget the look on his face. He looked like he had just seen a really bad car accident. "I...I don't know," he said sheepishly.

     It's the little victories that count.

     He never bothered me about the Rolling Stones again.

I thought that "Romeo and Juliet" with Leonardo DiCaprio was pretty bad (especially how it took place in modern times but they used the original Shakesperean English).

good point. that issue was fiercly debated amongst my friends.

Anything that John Travolta did after Pulp Fiction is deserves to be on here. "Get Shorty" was an overrated piece of crap, "Battlefield: Earth was total crap, and "Broken Arrow" stunk too. Didn't see "Face: Off", but at least he dies in this one (even in Nick Cage's body).

I don't know about absolute worst, but the Power Rangers movie with the ooze guy was AWFUL.  :P
