Has anyone heard of or know about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? There where my favorite cartoon and toy from the 90's, the movie was good too. My favorite Turtle is Michaelangelo.

i used to read the comic series. the original comics were not for kids...i guess you couldn't have raphael killing indescrimantly in the cartoons.

Nope, the Foot Soldiers in the cartoons (the original) where robots.

I thought the cartoon series was okay for a comic book sell-out series.
I am a loyal fan of the original darker version though. The new series seems to meet half way.

They were a major hype where I was from (though I didn't really understand what the big deal was), and Michaelangelo seemed to be the most popular.

I liked the old cartoon. Raphael was my favourite. Sure it was sanitised but, when I was a kid, I enjoyed it for what it was.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Heroes in a half-shell
Turtle power!
They're the world's most fearsome fighting team (We're really hip!)
They're heroes in a half-shell and they're green (Hey - get a grip!)
When the evil Shredder attacks
These Turtle boys don't cut him no slack!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Splinter taught them to be ninja teens (He's a radical rat!)
Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines (That's a fact, Jack!)
Raphael is cool but crude (Gimme a break!)
Michaelangelo is a party dude (Party!)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Heroes in a half shell
Turtle power!

I never knew they made a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 :o
That came out when I was 13... when a LOT of their original young fans turned 13, and their newer young fans went on to the Power Rangers...
I think in 1999 or so, the Power Rangers teamed up with the live action TMNT for a show...

:D Yeah, I owned a 12 or 13" tall poseable action figure of Donatello. He was cool. I wish I could find another one of those today, for I lost mine several years ago during a move. I should check E-bay!! I know I've seen some there in the past...

I used to LOVE this show so much when I was younger. I even remember my brother dressing up as one of them for Halloween one year. Good times. :)
Speaking of which, does anyone remember the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles music album? I believe it was called Coming Out Of Their Shells and I played it all the time as a kid. There were songs on there like Pizza Power (of course, considering their love for pizza) and even a song "sung" by Shredder called Skipping Stones, I believe. I remember being in Pizza Hut once and they were giving those out and I got one. I think I sitll have it somewhere on cassette, though I haven't listened in years. :D
Anyone remember that? :)

I remember seeing one episode of the TV show about 15 years ago or so; I saw the movie on TV in 1992 (the first one, I believe).

Hey guys! It's been a long time, but Nickelodeon is planning to bring the show back next year. In the meantime, a good place to really become a fan is the site forums.thetechnodrome.com. It's more than if you ever wanted to know about the turtles and a hotbed of discussion. I purchased a lot of original comics on eBay yesterday for $118 that included over 25 original issues, including the first printings of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th comics along with the fourth printing of the 1st.

I've always been a fan of the TMNT. From the cartoon to the movies to the toys. I saw the first live action movie in Theatres four times and the other two twice each. Originally Michelangelo was my favorite but these days I lean more toward Raphael.
