In the 1989-1990 timeframe, on CBS (I think) on late night TV after the nightly news, there was a group of programs where one certain show would air each night.  Each night was a different program (maybe 1-hour or 1-1/2 hours long) and the cycle would go again after a few days or maybe after a week. Anyways, one of the programs was a married couple who were private investigators.  The name of the show was something like "Two of Hearts" or "Two of ...something"  or "Queen of Hearts". 

Anyways I'm trying like the dickens to remember the name of the show.  I've Googled everything I could think of but have turned up empty.  What I really need is the female lead's name.

She never became famous for anything after that show as far as I remember.

She was a curly brunette and was attractive, but not super-model attractive.  She was also in a Grape Nuts commercial around the same time.

The male lead looked kind of like Peter Weller if I recall correctly.

I always loved watching the "Crimetime After Primeteme" lineup.  My favorite show from the lineup was Dark Justice, but only while Ramy Zada played Nick, the other guy didnt cut it.  I dont recall a show with a name like you say, but I think I know what youre talking about.  One show was called "Silk Stalkings" and it was like you describe.  The couple was married, then divorced, then together again, and they were investigators.  The womans name was Mitzi Kapture.  She had dark curly hair, and I do remember seeing a Grape Nuts commercial featuring someone who looked like her.  Youre right, she was very attractive, and still is.  (She also reminds me of the mom of one of my classmates from school.)  Shes been onscreen quite often, both before and after Silk Stalkings.  Heres her website.  http://mitzi.8k.com/

This bit sounded a bit like Hart to Hart.  The actress was Stephanie Powers and the husband was played by Robert Wagner.

Thanks a bunch for the info.  I'm not sure if the show I'm thinking of was in Crimetime After Primetime, but maybe it was.  And yes, Mitzi Kapture looks like who I'm remembering, but it's not her.  The lady I remember was not so pettite as Mitzi and less model looking (but still really attractive).  But at least I have a comparison to go by if I have to describe her to anyone.  Thanks!

No, it wasn't Hart to Hart.  That show was way before the show I'm thinking of.  It was in the mid or late 70's right?  Anyways I'm not thinking of Stepanie Powers.  Thanks anyways!

The show wasnt Crimetime after Primetime.  That was just the name of the whole lineup of shows they had.  Mitzi Kapture was in Silk Stalkings.  There were a lot of shows in the lineup, theyd swap shows sometimes here or there.  There was another show, Sweating Bullets, with Carolyn Dunn as an investigator teamed with a guy, it was an island retreat setting.  Heres a pic of her.  http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/PersonDetail/personid-38675

Some of the other shows were Scene Of The Crime, Forever Knight, and Fly By Night.

Peggy Smithhart starred in this short-lived private investigator romance/comedy TV show "Diamonds" between 1987-1989.  In it she and her co-star are two actors who starred in their own TV show called "Two of Diamonds" (a 'show within a show').  That 2nd name was what stuck in my mind.

She also did a series of Post Grape-nuts commercials with an actor who played her husband.
