Dumb & Dumber then The Cable Guy. But really, I like all of his movies. Truman Show wasn't one of the better ones, imo.

I loved Liar, Liar and The Truman Show. I think that Jim Carrey can sometimes be great in a serious role, except for that piece of crap The Majestic.

The Cable Guy. I also liked Bruce Almighty (though it was 00s). I didnt really care for his super goofy stuff.

I'm surprised the Mask got the fewest votes, it was pretty funny. I didn't like that one, Irene or something or the picture show one, whatever it was called.

As for comedies, he is just silly, not funny. He lost his edge when he left In Living Color and went mainstream (suburban)! I miss Fire Marshall Bill! Now, that's funny!

I think Batman Forever should be in there also. I know it's not a full on JC movie, but the way he plays riddler, it could have been.

My sediments exactly! That's why I too picked "Dumb and Dumber." I thought people were too dismissive of Jeff Daniel's performance. I though Daniels' "Harry" character was a perfect not-so-straight man for Carrey's "Lloyd." Don't forge Mike Starr as "Mental,"

Alright, I'm a HUGE Jim Carrey fan, and to be honest, his best films are "Dumb and Dumber," "The Mask," "Me, Myself and Irene," and of course "The Truman Show." BUT! I must add one onto the list that I saw a month or so ago in the theater, a little flick called, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." This movie is AMAZING. It is a mind blowing movie from start to finish. It is my new favorite Jim Carrey movie.
But be for warned, if you like Jim Carrey acting like a dip sheesh, then you wont like this movie, although is has its funny moments, it is NOT a slap stick comedy as the majority of his other movies are.

The Cable Guy is kind of Scarey, and Jim pulls off the character so well for a comedian known for unbelievability.

My votes went to "The Truman Show" for Carrey's brilliant portrayal of someone totally in the dark. Real emotion and fewer slapstick moments proved that Jim Carrey can pull off drama with the right script (I thought "Man on the Moon" was grossly over-rated).
I also voted for "Dumb and Dumber" which may be the best comedy ever made. The film was simply bubble gum. It didn't try to be anything other than what the title stated. By far, Carrey's best comedic film.

Well of the ones on the list then The Cable Guy (which is so dark and just hilarious) and The Truman show which i really enjoyed but was more poignant than hilarious...
However Man on the Moon has to be his best film to date, fantastic.
