I had a tough time deciding between "Seinfeld" and "The Simpsons," but I went with the latter. D'oh!

Its tough to choose between "Fresh Prince" and Seinfeld. Everybody knows on these boards who do I like "Its A Different World". I liked Friends too in the first few years it was on. Also liked "Home Improvement". Probably would be a 3 way choice between "Fresh Prince" "Home Improvement" and "Seinfeld".

I voted for Friends.

I voted for The Fresh Prince.  The jokes were so obvious, yet they were delivered so well.  By the time it went off the air, I stopped watching sitcoms.

If I had read the poll more carefully, I would have voted for The Simpsons.

I picked Seinfeld, but why Everybody Loves Raymond is not on this list is beyond me. I know that it's not the most likeable series, but the cast is one of the most talented on history (excepting Patricia Heaton).

I think that Family Matters is one of the best delivered sitcoms of the 90's for family's...

I like Fraiser, but stopped watching a few years ago. Every now and then a really clever episode would pop-up, but for the most part I always thought it was a "lazy" sitcom. They writers always took the easy way out for every situation. Too much fantasy in a sitcom is a bad thing with me. I feel the same way about Friends.

Roseanne was one of my faves, but I myself consider that an 80s show.  Another good mention was Coach, I used to love that show.

I really dont like Seinfeld, or Friends, or anything like that.

With Simpsons in here, I should mention Beavis and Butthead too.  That show was one of my favorite animated shows.  Now South Park I hate with a passion, it just seems way too adultish vulgar.  B&B were more of a vulgarness of a frustrated kid.

I pick the Simpsons...very funny, uses lots of cultural references, and makes fun of the Telletubbies in almost every episode in the 1998  I-1999 season  ;D,.  I also like Full House, too.

I;m surprised "Roseanne" is getting so many votes. Its not a bad show I'm just surprised its getting so many votes.

It has to be 'Friends'. I can watch the re-runs over and over again and not get bored.

I've gone for The Simpsons, but Friends and Frasier are right behind it.

Roseanne started funny but deteriorated the longer it went on. Ellen was never as funny after the episode where she came out - too analytical and not enough humour. The series leading up to her coming out, where there were lots of hints dropped, was hilarious.

I definitely think it was Beverly Hills 90210.. That was the show. I remember being young and sneaking downstairs to illegally watch it..

Ooh, I didn't see that 70s show before! Hmm, I love that. But yeh, I'm glad I still voted for Friends :)

Wings is still awesome.  I have the first 6 seasons on DVD and I love them! 8)

If I had to narrow it down, I would go with either Home Improvement or Wings.

I was the only one who voted for Ellen... haha. Many memorable episodes from that series. I also love the underdog!

I remember 3rd Rock from the Sun. I haven't seen that since I was on a plane over to Orlando back in 2002. I voted for Friends. I have all 10 seasons and all the episodes never cease to amaze me. Other good shows were Boy Meets World, Family Matters (Urkel!), Fresh Prince, Seinfeld, Home Improvement, etc.

You're not wrong there. Despite it's criticisms and being over-shown, every episode of Friends was well scripted and packed full of quality comedy.
