I was wondering if a CD went in stores on May 18 1998 how many months before would you hear this song back in 1998? For instance Kind and Generous Natalie Merchant was sold around the 20th of May. Would you hear the song back at the begining of May?
Also what were the most palyed songs around between May 1 and May 15th 1998?
How long before does one hear a song on the radio before the CD comes out? And how long after would a song come out if the CD has been released. For instance the CD that the Matchbox 20 CD song Jumper was released in 1997? I saw that song only in the top 40 charts a year later? Did the song Jumper play back in 1997 on the US airwaves?
