I just bought a brand-new copy of "The Matrix" on DVD,but it won't work. The player won't load it. Anyone else have this problem?

You need to check your dvd player and the dvd itself. Some players will not play a dvd that is a dual-layer format dvd. The Matrix dvd is a dual-layer format, at least the copy I have is one. You also need to see what region the dvd is encoded for and what region your player is intended for.
Subject: WARNING To Samsung DVD-Player Owners!
I took the disc back to the store and exchanged it for another copy. Before I left the store I had them test it out (on a GE player) and it worked fine. When I got home,this new disc would not play. I have a Samsung player. I have close to 100 DVDs (including several dual-layer ones) and they all work just fine. But for some reason,"The Matrix" does not. So if you own a Samsung DVD player,DO NOT buy "The Matrix".
