Does anyone out there know what food this slogan accompanied?
Mothers love it;
Kids ask for it by name.
I need to know! thanks!

I'm not exactly sure, but i have a feeling it may be the Ovaltine commercial. "More Ovaltine Please!" Maybe???

Thanks for submitting a suggestion. You are probably correct!
I actually called up the Corporate Headquarters for Ovaltine (Hummel Nutrition), and....
According to the spokesperson's supervisor, the slogan "Mothers love it, Kids ask for it by name" was in fact used by Ovaltine. According to them, it was last used during the 1960's. They couldn't prove it because their archives stop in 1992. There must be some old magazine ads, however. The strange thing is that some people have told me they swear that the slogan is still used today.
Their current slogans are:
"More Ovaltine, Please!" and
"tastes great; great for you"

Hmm.. I'm actually thinking it's a cereal slogan.. maybe Kix?? I know they used to use, "Kid tested, mother approved".. but I'm thinking either Kix or Life Cereal who used to have, "Unless they're weird, your kids will eat it".. but like I say, for some reason, I want to say it's one of the two
