Subject: Name of a song?????
I don't know if any of you remember this song, but it was from around 96/97. I can't remember if it was a guy or a girl singing it. All's I remember is that the song was about the singer fishing in a boat with two people. It goes:
"Jane Fonda, Pocahontas and me..."
That's all I can remember. That line keeps going on and on at the end of the song. If you can help me out with this mystery, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Uggghh... Now you've got me thinking about that one too. I think I do know what you are talking about. I did have a song in mind and went to find it to listen... It was Crash Vegas' 'Pocahontas', BUT she sings "Marlon Brando, Pocahontas and me..." (and has nothing to do with fishing.) Still, I know this song you're talking about is different and it's going to kill me now too.
(Do you have any other lyrics?) Can someone answer this before I also go crazy?

Actually, you are right. It was Marlon Brando, I knew it was a guy, but I couldn't think of his name so I just threw in Jane Fonda. It might not have had anything to do with fishing, but there might have been something about a boat. I don't know. Crash Vegas is the right answer now that I think of it. I remember that name so well now. They used to get a lot of radio play with that song a few years back. I looked it up on cdplus.com, and unfortunately couldn't find the song, but I did find out that they were Canadian. I didn't think anybody else would know this song, thanks a lot, I wouldn't have been able to find it out on my own that's for sure!

Hey, great! Thanks for letting me know too... I seriously would have gone crazy thinking about a song with those lyrics in it!
Yeah, she implies a boat and mentions 'paddles'. It's a great song. I used to love it too.
I actually found a copy of it on Napster if you have it.
