Subject: Apologies to everyone for that idiot

that was posting here last weekend.. I was away from the computer most of the weekend, and wasn't able to patrol for spammers... if there was an easy way to allow me to add additional moderators, I certainly would to prevent this..

I'm rather surprised you don't get more spammers than you do. I had a message board on one of my sites which got spammed so much I ended up pulling it down. And I have to say that for a guy who's so damn busy, you do a brilliant job at moderating these boards! I'm sure we regulars don't mind if a few slip through the cracks now and then. Cheers!

well, you know, I actually got used to monitoring messageboards about 10+ years ago on my old website, The Information Society (a cool name for a BBS and for that matter a group if there ever was one).. if people don't see spam, and they see that the site is frequently monitored, they usually don't bother..

the nice thing about my current job is I can ping the 5 sites I run, to at least make sure things are running smoothly.. doesn't take long really.. 5 or 10 minutes a day.. plus this summer has been really slow on the messageboards..

all my time gets swallowed in new features/new sites.. I'm trying to develop a site for a friend, and have a use for my amiwrong.com domain finally, which I'm dying to begin work on as well.. though I want to get my friend's site at least somewhat setup..
