Subject: Characteristic of 90s videos
What do many 90s (esp. early 90s) videos have in common that stands out and makes them look unique?? Hint: It was a relativley short lived fad that caught on quickly; MANY early 90s videos by dance music artists have it in common.

The answer you've all been agonizing over is this: many 90s (esp. early 90s) videos have this in common: TEXT. Yes, text. If you think back, remember when alot of artists had the lyrics to their songs float by during the video? Examples: Paula Abdul "Will You Marry Me?" and "Vibeology", Crystal Waters "Gypsy Woman", MC Hammer "Too Legit too Quit", REM "Everybody Hurts", C+C Music Factory "Everyboday Dance Now",The Spice Girls "Say You'll Be There" Van Halen "Right Now", George Micheal "Too Funky" + many, many more. The latest 90s video I ever saw that used this technique was Tom Green's "The Lonely Swedish (The Bum Bum Song)" which came out last December. This I would say would be the the thing that makes 90s videos look unique and exclusive to the certain era of the 90s.
