Hey all!

Does anyone remember those cheezy kid horror books by RL Stine? They were called "Goosebumps".

Then after some time, mid 90s, it was made into a tv series on Nick.

Let's not knock those little books. ;D They are still great reads for the growing kids and the kids at heart. Yeah, I remember them well. I believe they're still being written too.

I remember reading those books in the early/mid '90's.
I think the "Goosebumps" series ran on Fox.

And the Nickelodeon show was called "Are You Afraid Of The Dark", which I doubt were based on books.

Hi Yeah when I was 10 I was a huge fan of those now I am writing my own book series which is loads better. It's like now I really know how talented I am because I have the best imagination, if only I had the patience to present a good manuscript, there are probably at least ten grammer mistakes in this thing alone.

yeah those things were so cheesy every one loved them. I used to get so excited because I wanted to be a writier too.

I had so many good stories to share.

I used to love goosebumps. I prefered Are You Afraid of the Dark to the TV version of it though.

i remember when they first came out in 92, a little before i started 3rd grade, later i joined this kinda club with mystery books and scary books and every month i got the new goosebumps...at one point i had all the books up to version 22 or something, but then elementary school ended and i quit reading them.

I remember (was probably in the 80s) when he was known as "Jovial" Bob Stine and he wrote funny stories instead of scary ones.  He wrote this whole deal about a series of neverending Thank-you notes, and it was just full of all kinds of non-sensical humour that just had me cracking up so hard.  Anyone know what I'm talking about?
