What is your all time favorite Price is Right game.
For me it's hard to say.

Cliffhanger! A cardboard mountaineer would climb a cardboard mountain depending on the difference between the contestants guess and the actual price of a prize. If the mountaineer fell off the end, an ear-piercing yell occurred signalling the end of the game. I used to hate the noise but the game created a lot of tension. Is he going to fall off the cliff . . .

Any of them. I want to go on just so I can slip Bob Barker the tongue...he's so dreamy ;) ;)
Subject: Re: Your Favorite Price is Right game.
I like the mt. climber game, but my favorite was 3 strikes. I liked to try to guess if they were going to pull a strike out of the bag or not. I'd like to get to spin the big wheel, too. There was one game where Bob would say higher or lower. To me it always looked like he was holding a candy bar.
I also loved the Showcase Showdowns. I liked it when they worked a little story into the showcase.
My Granny used to always amaze me. She knew the exact prices of everything! I didn't know how she did it.
Subject: Re: Your Favorite Price is Right game.
The punching game where people had to punch holes and then Bob would check to see how much the check was for. ;D

The one where they buy vowels, and spin some sort of wheel and guess letters to solve puzzles and stuff.
Does anybody else like the game where they buy vowels, and spin some sort of wheel and guess letters to solve puzzles and stuff?

Huh?? Howard didn't you know that Bob Barker is made by the same company as Dick Clark, they're indestructable, they will live forever...now PIR voice announcers, well that's another thing entirely...
My favorite game is the when they spin the big wheel to see who goes to the final showcase. Almost always has something interesting to see...you can never predict what a contestant will (or won't) do...

I like that part too, but it never seems that the contestant spins that wheel HARD enough.
My fantasy is that I get on TPIR, and spin that wheel so hard that it comes out of its mounting and rolls into the audience. Bob Barker then proclaims "We have a winner!" ;D

Bob won't die, he's like Dick Clark. But just in case, they'll just take a strand of his DNA and clone a new one. ;)

Cliff Hanger was so hysterically FUNNY with that yodeling music! What a NAIL-BITER!! And the golf game was cool too,as was the game where you won a car by matching two car halves! Plinko was fun too!

That would be "Money Game." What I like about that game is that you can't walk away from it empty-handed. If, after four tries, you don't get both halves of the car, you win money-- the total of all the numbers for which you revealed a dollar sign (for example, if you get a dollar sign behind, say, 15, 33, 94, and 75, you win $217). :) :D

How about where they stick their hand in a bag and sometimes they'd a REDX and sometimes they'd pull out a number.I forget what game that was. ???

That's the "3 Strikes" game, which is played for a new car, usually an expensive one like a Cadillac.
Subject: Re: Your Favorite Price is Right game.
The game with the huge glittery numbered wheel always made me nervous. It seemed like it was only a matter of time before someone’s hair got caught on one of the pegs that stuck out. Even to this day, I get a knot in my stomach when they bring that thing out.

Yes, the Pricing wheel... scary. Next time you watch the show keep a close eye on the pegs and their proximity to the contestant's head.

Holly was a hottie.

Wow, yeah, I haven't watched that show in forever. Haven't really watched any tv in forever, actually. But yeah, my favorite games were probably the mountain climbing one everyone keeps mentioning, and the one where you had to put a bunch of everyday items in the exact right price order. I forget exactly how it worked, but I remember it was fun to watch.
