Remeber the cartoon from "MTV Liquid Television" and her own series in the mid 1990's?
It was OK though. And I think she was ripped off a few years later and revamped into a super hero/tramp (Much like the obscure "In Living Color" sketch) named "Stripperella". :P
Instead of a spy from the distant future.

I really liked this cartoon. I first started watching it on Liquid Television and then when she had her own show. Didn't she wind up dying in the end?

In the Liquid Television shorts, she died quite often! :D
In the long series, she lived to fight another day... (I have the comic book based on the full series as well, called The Herodotus File). Kinda disjointed.
The character designer Peter Chung was also involved in the recent anime series Reign which I believe was shown in the USA as Alexander's Reign.

In one didn't she step on a nail and contract the virus that was spreading? It's been so long since I've seen them.
On MTV2 Saturday they were re-running them. I didn't get to see them but just for a minute.

My then 6/7 year old and I loved to watch Eon Flux, she was a riteous heroine fighting overwhelming odds. We also liked the Oddities, or those super heros who had a knife stuck through his head, or something I vaguely recall. Also there was that dude who was a street person in one dimention, but in the other, a hero warrior king. We really liked that one too, what were those called?

Wasn't the Maxx a big purple guy? There was a little girl with him? I sort of remember it.

Sorta. he lived in a cardboard box in an alley, and the girl (early 20s, maybe) felt sorry for him and became his "friend". Her bespectacled friend tried to get her to stop hanging around with this loser and there was a mystical ending to it all...
