Subject: Michael J. Fox, in 1998, Parkinson's announcement
Does anyone remember how we reacted,? I mean he is so young, I wonder if Michael J. Fox ever feels like he is Fighting a losing battle against Parkinson's?
Just like Magic Johnson, does he ever feel he is fighting a losing battle against HIV/AIDS?

What amazes me is that a guy like Magic Johnson, who seems to be a smart guy, would conduct his personal life such that he exposed himself to the AIDS/HIV in the first place. It's no secret how he got it... sleeping around, being the basketball "stud muffin".
These guys never learn. Witness the web that Kobe Bryant has woven due to his immorality.
And no... HIV/AIDS is not God's punishment for immorality. But one might consider it as a sort of a usually-avoidable sand trap in the big golf game of life.

Yes I felt quite sad upon hearing of Fox's illness. He is a gifted actor and felt quite insulted when they replaced him with Charlie Sheen in Spin City. >:(

I think Charlie Sheen was funny on Spin City. I do feel bad for Micheal J. Fox though. He's a really good guy and he didn't deserve this. I was watching an episode of ER last week(a re-run) and one of the doctors on ER had parkinsons. I can tell it really effects you(the way you walk, your hands might shake.)
