Subject: Grunge song in early 90's???
I have heard this song in a commercial but I don't know its name or band. I remember that in the video - which was heavily rotated in mtv- was a girl band and the bouncing ball. The song must be from 1991 or 1992. Any ideas guys?

I'll bet you're thinking of "Cannonball" by The Breeders

The Breeders used to open for Nirvana
it was from 1993 i think, very catchy song that I haven't heard for a while.

Walked into a used CD shop yesterday in Louisville, and the Breeders were on, same cd as Cannonball.

I like "Divine Hammer"
The video clip is funny too when Kim Deal mistimes her miming and you can see her thinking real hard "what the?!" ;D

Good song, solid group - the Breeders were probably a grunge group, they had the look, but the music was nice and melodic with occasional heavy rifs. Think the singer Tonya Donnely was also in a group called Belly that recorded a nice song called "Feel the Trees."

Thanks, great song, Tonya was hot, she really looked good as opposed to Courtney Love, who from a distance looked sexy, but close up she appeared to be drooling.
