Songs I like: 8)
Cradle of love - Billy Idol
Unskinny Bop - Poison
One song that I "semi like": :)
(can't live without your) Love and Affection - Nels :-Xn
(The only Nelson song I would listen to.)
Why isn't MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This" on this list?
It was his biggest hit. "Pray" was a bit mediocre.
BTW, "U Can't Touch This" is the only MC Hammer song I like.
The rest were just plain garbage.
Unfortnately, Deborah Gibson's "Anything Is Possible" charted at the top 30 and was quickly forgotten.
She deserved better!!!
Atleast she's NOT FORGOTTEN like most of the acts on the list. Execpt for Billy Idol & Phil Collins. 8)
BTW, where's Bel Biv DeVoe, The B-52's, Vanilla Ice "Ice, Ice, Baby", Digital Underground, Deee Lite, INXS, The Soupdragons,
Alannah Miles, and Suzanne Vega & DNA's "Tom's Diner"? ::)
"I Wish It Would Rain Down" isn't one of my favorite Phil Collins songs.

An early '90's pop metal duo. Sons of Rick Nelson & had long blonde hair...(BLECH!) Picture Hanson & Poison,a great hairband, combined.
They also had another hit. "After The Rain". Inwhich was #4 on "MTV 25 Lame". (1999) Never to be aired again. Uhmmm?
Aired? MTV doesn't even play music videos since 1997.
(That was the "joke" hidden in that special)
And I don't care much about Moronic TV ...since 1998.
I only watched it out of curiosity.
It's best to forget about Nelson. They were another wannabe hairband act.

In retrospect it's the one that everyone remembers, but perhaps "Pray" had more chart action at the time, even if it didn't have the staying power.
This list reinforces my belief that 1990 was a bad year for the charts. Where's LL Cool J? No Black Crowes? Where's "Nothing Compares 2 U"?

Terrible! :-X If this is the cr@p they were playing on the radio in 1990, I now know why I spent so much time & money in record stores back then.

I agree. "Anything Is Possible" is a good song, albeit came out late in '90.
I was just thinking that about the above mentioned artists. And Depeche Mode. "Enjoy The Silence" was played quite a bit on MTV in '90.

Numbers 1, 2, ,8 and 9 were good and thats it. Where is "Wishful Thinking" by Go West? Where is "Love Will Lead You Back" by Taylor Dayne? Where is "Rub You The Right Way" by Johnny Gill? Where is "Vision of Love" by Mariah Carey"? Where is "Around The World" by Lisa Stansfield? Where is "Poisin" by Dell Biv Devoe? Nelson, and New Kids On the Block? Come on Now. Oh yeah the comments about MTV At least MTV2 plays video's nowadays.

Nelson And NKOTB were huge. At least most of their fans now regrets them. :D
And their younger siblings or kids are now into today's TRL garbage.
Every generation has it's share of awful pop acts.

That was a nice song back in the day. I was 11 years old back then in 1990.

I meant to say Nelson and New Kids On the Block. Come on now. Those acts were terrible.
