I remember "My So Called Life" airing on ABC though.  At least originally.  It was indeed a good series.

I always thought that TV in the 90's pretty much sucked all the way around.  But, if I had to pick a worst of the worst, my vote would go to X-Files.  I only watched one episode and it was so throughly disgusting that I never watched it again.

(Note: The one episode I watched was about some inbred family in Pennsylvania where three sons were having sex with their mother.)

I have a channel on my cable called muchmusic.  Most of the stuff on there is not mainstream, though.  I don't think I've ever seen a show on there, except maybe a countdown.

Oh I long for those good old days of MTV.  What a waste it has become.  Its barely a shade of its former self.  We now have a whole generation of kids who have no idea of what MTV was actually all about.  How I used to watch MTV practically all day,every day.  Now I cant stand to watch more than 3 minutes at once.
