Subject: Re: Favorite movie of the 90's.
I'm fairly surprised that no one mentioned "The Shawshank Redemption" as one of their favorites of the '90s. If you have not seen it, I highly recommend it. It is a prison drama spanning 30 years in the lives of Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. It builds to an unforgettable climax, and will leave you with a smile. In fact, I recently did a parody of Don Henley's "The End of the Innocence" about the Shawshank Redemption in the most recent of DarkJon's games. If you look at the parody (which isn't meant to be funny), it will give you a decent idea at what the movie is about.

Too many to choose from!
Pulp Fiction, Trainspotting and the Matrix are probably the most memorable 3 for me.
Subject: Re: Favorite movie of the 90's.
LA Confidential
Subject: Re: Favorite movie of the 90's.
Titanic
Forest Gump
The Frighteners
Subject: Re: Favorite movie of the 90's.
The most inspiring movie of all time, in my humble opinion. TNT and TBS show it 80 times a week but I'd try to catch all 80 showings if I could...especially when Andy finally gets his freedom. Should've beaten out Forrest Gump for best picture, but the Academy is full of rich deluded b*****ds >:(

Subject: Re: Favorite movie of the 90's.
Not sure between "Braveheart" and "Last of Mohicans". 1 good thing about the 90s was they had some better class of movie than the last 20 years. Unfortunately, though, most of it was still lousy. But at least they had a few great epics.
Subject: Re: Favorite movie of the 90's.
H.E.A.T. Gattaca, Silence of the lambs, Toy Story, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Go!, American Beauty, American History X...
Weird how I can't come up w/more, I'll try harder...
Subject: Re: Favorite movie of the 90's.
I was about to vote for Shawshank Redemption, but then American History X was mentioned - what a very powerful film. I absolutely cried my eyes out at the end of that movie. It gets my vote!
