Subject: Song that defines your 90's
What is the one song that can define the entire decade to you and why?
Mine is
"Amazing" Aerosmith
Met my first husband...almost lost my life...and did lose a good friend ...woke up..literally saw the light...and got out of the marriage and moved on..this decade (00's) is MUCH better than the last..and when I hear that song..it reminds me of just how lucky I am!!!!!

"Creep" by Radiohead
"Leaving" by Suede
"Unprofessional" by Kent

"Two Worlds Collide" by The Inspiral Carpets
Every one of those songs has that one line, that one hook or chorus that sums up a whole array of emotions. Great songs IMO. I couldn't possibly choose just one.

I think the name of my song was B I T C H, can't remember who sang it...think her first name was Meredith. ;)
Seriously, I don't think there is a song I can say defined my 90's. I got married, cheated on (with his ex wife no less ::)) divorced. Dated another loser who had just gotten out of prison (what was I thinking?) I guess if I hadn't dated him I wouldn't have my daughter. There are some good things coming out of the 90's, just glad that they are over, though.

"Spiderwebs", "Sunday Morning", and "Don't Speak" by No Doubt...like Crazydon and Natski, dunno why it defines the 90s for me, but they're good songs! ;D

I'm not sure where on earth you are, (me being in England an' all,) but that song got SO little airtime here. I've onlt recently re-discovered it on a complation, Now 24 from 1993.
Classic song.

I'm in the U.S. and I was fortunate to have heard it on the radio in regular intervals for a while, because there was little else out there I cared for.

Yeah MTV got bad once the whole teen-pop craze of the late 90's took off. I liked MTV2 but I don't have it anymore.

I had to think about this one quite a bit. I would say it has to be Tired Of Me by Live. I was always changing something about myself, my hair, my religion, my morals, my major... and then there's the verse:
