Subject: Happy Christmas
I think that says it all. Have a happy Christmas, and the greatest damn New Year you ever had. Its all on me, the Bobo (except, that's a PSEUDONYM)

Unfortunately, I did not have a Happy Christmas or even a Merry Christmas. I don't want to get into it since it's a family matter. (And so far my New Year's sucked too) I hope you all did better.

I hope things get better for ya! ;D
Some family does tend to suck no matter how nice you treat 'em. They're the few you hate to see at family reunions and holiday gatherings.
The way I deal with it:
Try really hard to ignore them. If that's not possible, smile and say "excuse me" and run the other direction as if to run to the bathroom. Hey, the bathroom is always a good place to get away from an ackward situation. Of course, you'd run right back out again (assuming they weren't waiting outside the door for ya).
I like to think there's a set in every family because it helps me feel better I'm not the only one. ;)
Hope this helps for future encounters of the worst kind. ;D
