I'll save the obvious ones, because I am all about the obscure :D
Here is a group from The Netherlands called Doris D and the Pins with their 1984 single Starting At The End. This never charted in the mainstream, but I seem to recall hearing it on the radio when it was new. I have an album called Can't Stop Dancin' - Volume II which was a promotional compilation released by Montreal radio station CKMF-94 which played dance music and this song is on it. This has always been quite a guilty pleasure of mine...

I used to roller skate to this one. It's titled Stay With Me by a Canadian twin sister duo called Tu. It peaked at #18 in Canada during November of 1987

The Go-Go's readily come to mind. They had several great hits during the 1980s. But rather than post those, why not post something off the beaten path from them?

Here's a group called Fuzzbox with their 1989 UK hit Pink Sunshine. I don't know why this one didn't catch on in North America, it's just so good! I know it was released at least in Canada because I own the album.
