Subject: 80s artists you like that were not popular in your country

One of my favourites is a jazz/funk group called Shakatak. They charted 16 hits in their native UK from 1980-1987, but none of those became hits in either Canada or the USA. I don't know how well they promoted themselves in North America, but I know they had releases in Canada. Shame nothing had charted. This band was so good
