When I was a little girl my mom use to watch this movie with me (because we are part Italian, and loved Ralph Macchio). I also remember watching the music video of the theme song on VH1.

So hard to choose.... this one is so funny and a tearjerker at the same time. The beat up car is a must have. And it’s not overplayed.

I watched that for the first time a few weeks back. It was great! Never knew it was a psychological thriller.

Oh man, I love quoting that movie. What makes it even better is that R. Lee Ermey was an actual Marine Corps drill instructor in the 1960's and he used his experience to ad-lib most of his dialogue as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.

Streets of Fire. It is my favourite film ever! The acting in it is terrible, the dialogue is worse, but I wouldn't have it any other way. The movie was sadly not a success, but it is home to the popular 1984 hit I can dream about you by Dan Hartman
The film has achieved a cult following and even has an unofficial sequel
