Both shows were different but I loved Three's Company because Jack Tripper was a complete and utter goofball. ;D

How can you lose with the late and great John Ritter, right? I was always more of a Three’s Company fan than Too Close For Comfort.

I loved threes company. I always saw too close for comfort but never watched it.
I loved John Ritter. In threes company, problem child. Never watched 8 simple rules. But even the voice of Clifford. He just seemed like the nicest sweetest guy. Gone way too soon. I miss him. I think of him when I see people that remind me of him like Chip Gaines or the dentist on some makeover show.

Nah not my type. Besides she was 12 years older than my mom. I had a crush on Punky Brewster who was within 2 weeks my age.

Three's Company for sure! I loved the later seasons more with Don Knotts. Whilst I loved the Ropers, their storylines and jokes got real same'y after a while. Mr Furley was a breath of fresh air and much funnier for me.
FYI I also remember watching "The Ropers" spin-off.
It was sad Suzanne Somers left, but I loved Cindy and Terri.

Yeah, she was good-looking as an actress. Even later on, when she played the recurring role of 'Mamaw' on Hannah Montana. The character was the mother of Robbie Ray Stewart (Billy Ray Cyrus' character), and the grandmother of Miley's character. Yet in real life Vicki was only 12 years older than Billy Ray Cyrus, who played her son.

I never watched Too Close For Comfort at all, but I liked Three’s Company; so if I were to answer this question, my opinion would be biased.

I watched a little bit of Too Close For Comfort, it didn’t hold my interest. It does remind me of Three’s Company and One Day At A Time.

I like the too close for comfort one. Sounds like a cross between the intro to who’s the boss, and the smooth jazz song “what you won’t do for love.”
