50s nostalgia definitely survived the 80s and lasted well into the 90s.

...and is to return to screens in the UK this autumn, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke of York among those set to be mocked in puppet form.

Puppets not only survived the 80s, but the 70s too.

They're bringing that back??? I used to watch that back in the day. It aired on Sundays here in Canada, and the fantastically awful 'The Chicken Song' was also a minor hit here

Spitting Image was always for me on Channel 4 in New York.
