Yes it will be weird thinking of 1970 as half a century ago. It looks a lot more modern compared to the 1950s and even the early 1960s.

Yeah, it's pretty impressive how old the 60s-80s are getting considering those three decades were very future-obsessed and modern compared to the ones before them (though an obsession for the future is something all decades of the 20th century share in common).
