This is my school, the one I just graduated from this past school year. Unless you are immune to nostalgia, this will affect you. Mind you, this isn't from the early 80s, this is from 1987 which you can argue is the peak of 80s-ness:

That video is very 80s. She could have lived across from Ferris Bueller, except Bueller was in Chicago and that looks like California.
The first couple minutes of the video below has a lot of footage from a mall in AZ in 1988. It's amazing to see, and sad to think how poorly so many malls are doing today compared to back then.

You can see a "Mickey Vice" shirt, appropriately since this school is about an hour from Miami, the analog alarm clock in a similar vein to the first Back to the Future movie, along with the Animal House theme that still conforms to TENG's "Spirit of 1978" rule. Its an interesting hybrid that conforms to traditional home video with post-production audio and camcorders with real-time audio. This wasn't very present in '90s home recordings, which is basically all real time sound.
