Subject: 80s or 90s movie about a mannequin who comes to life?

I remember vaguely seeing a movie, possibly made between the mid 80s and mid 90s, about a mannequin who comes to life and she acts as a mother figure to some kids and at the end, she goes back to being a mannequin. Something to do with the kids being granted a wish or something. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
