Subject: Brian Bonsall... a Family Ties misstep
Written By: andersenb11775 on 11/27/15 at 9:44 am
I would have added a daughter rather than a son. A daughter that was into things like Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Brite, that Jennifer and Mallory were too old for. I would have cast a child actress like Judith Barsi or Heidi Zeigler.

I agree. :) But not Judith Barsi. It's such a shame what happened to that poor child. :\'(
I never did like Brian.

Maybe it was because of Brian's past problems. ???

Yeah. A daughter would have been a much better step and been much better than Brian Bonsall. I chose Judith Barsi because i admire her and think she would have been a good fit for Family Ties. Although Barsi was a brunette, if they wanted her to fit in with the blonde Jennifer and Elyse, a wig or hair dye would have worked.
