Subject: In your opinion, which was the best 80s horror movie franchise?

To me, Friday the 13th was the best. It had great sequels, while having Part V as my favorite sequel in my opinion. Even before New Line bought the franchise in the early 90s, it was awesome for everybody.

I don't really consider Halloween an 80s franchise because the first one came out in 1978, but I get what you're saying.
Friday and Nightmare were both overrated, but still good, but I'd like an other option to vote for Sleepaway Camp

Well, I'm saying those three franchises because they were mostly popular during the 80s. Especially Halloween.

I consider Halloween more 80s but that's just me!
Halloween II (1981)
Halloween 3 (1982)
Halloween 4 (1988)
Halloween 5 (1989)
